Covid-19 Impact
We understand that individuals/families have been impacted by Covid-19 in many different ways. Every person applying for assistance must provide a Covid-19 Impact document that reflects your financial impact since August 2020.
The LRC can accept one of the following documents for this:
Separation notice - reason indicates due to Covid
Employer letter - on letterhead with signature and contact information - the LRC does contact your employer to verify
Pandemic Unemployment Assistance benefits (PUA) - benefits started after August 1, 2020
Positive Covid Test Results - resulted in loss of income
Housing Assistance
To best help you with your housing assistance request we require verification documents based on the type of housing and/or housing circumstances/situation:
Homeless:
copy of your current hotel/motel invoice OR - Homeless Self Certification (form will be provided if needed)
Rental Assistance: (Please note we will not work with landlords/property managers who do not accept wire transfer)
- current lease/ledger from your rental company AND - late notice/eviction notice (if applicable)
- We do require a W9 for rental companies to verify their status
Financial Impact
We understand that families/individuals have been impacted financially due to a loss of wages, hours, employment due to Covid-19. To verify your financial impact we do require 3 months of your most recent bank statements. We accept:
Bank Statements
Financial App statements (Ie. Chime, Qapital, etc)
Utilities Assistance request:
Current City of Lawrenceville Utility Bill (We only accept city of Lawrenceville Utility bill)
